Took pooch and friends out to lunch after a hike and Pasta Jay's was OVERJOYED to have our dog there!! When asked what their dog policy was, the hostess shrugged and said it was fine with her. They gave us a seat in the outdoor section in the back so no other patrons would have to trip over pooch. I know some places require pooch to stay outside the fenced portion but they were happy to have our pooch sit with us. It was on sidewalk cement but the area was clean and we didn't have to worry about pooch eating stuff off the floor.
They were so excited to have a dog there that two different waitresses were vying for our table so we go GREAT service. They brought out a special doggy bowl and fresh water and made sure pooch had enough to drink. They were just thrilled to pet him!
I can imagine that this space might be a little overwhelming if there were more than a few dogs present but our pooch was so exhausted from the hike that he fell asleep at our feet (with his ear in the water bowl no less).
