Aggressive dogs should not be allowed!
1

My husband and I brought our American Bulldog puppy (well he's 14 month old and 85 lb's) to this park for the first time yesterday as a friend of ours has taken her dog her many times. We didnt have any problems for a while and our dog was running around meeting all the dogs and just having tons of fun. Until this little white terrier attacked him! This dog was probably a fox terrier, white with tan spots and a docked tail. Our dog was just being social and when he went up to that little dog he growled and attacked him, our dog just ran away. A little while later a Golden went up to the same dog and that dog again attacked the Golden, the Golden tried to turn away but since this little dog kept on bitting him the Golden finally turned and attacked the little dog back! The owner of the little dog pretty much just stood there yelling her dogs name and the owner of the golden came running in and had to pick his dog up. At that point my husband walked up to the woman and gave her a piece of his mind! If your dog is aggressive which this one obviously was it should NOT be there! My husband said that her dog already bit ours and when she responded "What, which dog is yours? He didnt bit anyone!" We told her which dog was ours and she said "Oh well he just growled at him..." The woman was in denial! She said that she goes there ALL THE TIME! I screamed at her as well and warrned other people coming in with there dogs and said that we are leaving! I will never go back there again if people feel that it's ok to bring aggressive dogs there! This park is not very large so it's a little hard to avoid a dog who is ready to attach! I will gladly drive the extra miles and go to Nashota's park! Nashota is very large, has a great water area for the dogs and I've never seen an aggressive dog there! Everyone at Nashota is very nice and well aware of their pets!!!
