This dog park was amazing! Me and my 8 month old puppy and I love exploring new parks and this was one of the best. The dogs and owners were friendly and responsible, the trails were endless and woodsy and it nice and big.

Found Dog

Today, 11-9-13 found a scared black and white small lab-looking female without a collar crouched by the exit gate. It had been there at least 45 minutes without being tended to. Took her to the Dane County Humane Society. Please contact them if this is your little girl.

I recently moved from the Madison area and although I love my new southern home, I will always miss this park. All four of my dogs and I were regular visitors to the park and enjoyed ourselves in all kinds of weather. The trails can be a bit strenuous if your hike the entire circumference, but the trails criss-cross and the walks can cut out some of the hilly sections.

When it comes to dog parks, Madison, WI and Dane County rock!!!

I have only been there once, but it is by far the best one. I live to far from it so it has to be a special occasion on the weekend, but its awesome! The hiking and trails are just great. Wish it had some sort of water due to its size but you can always bring your own (do bring your own in the summer).

We are regular users of this dog park and think it's one of the best we've found in the area. Great trails to hike in the shade of the trees, open areas to throw the tennis ball and frisbees. The beautiful views of the rolling farmland of Wisconsin are plentiful.
