Small dogs vs large dogs

They allow the small dogs to go into the large dog area! I have Boxers, they love the Park yet nearly every time we go we have an encounter with a small dog owner. They complain about how my high energy dogs play with their little Precious! I will never return after this last time. I have had enough! Why have a separate area for small and large dogs?

Paw Print Park

Lilith, Daizee and I arrive at Paw Print Park every day it is safe for us to be out weatherwise. Our time there is often the highlight of our day. The grounds are well kept, paths are well worn, there is water for the dogs most of the year and the park is monitored to see that dogs inside the gates are licensed and have a Park tag. People stay with their dogs and the dogs almost always get along. It is a great place for dogs and people to socialize. Many thanks to the volunteers who make this park a valuable experience.

Paw Print Park

Really wonderful place ! I love that its on the 'bare bones' side :) I just want a place for my dogs to play safely off leash, and that's exactly what they get. I have four dogs of various size, and they thrive in the huge 'large dog' area. You can see the smiles on their faces whenever we go - which is frequent. A tremendous asset to Janesville and its dog community ! I absolutely love it. My dogs have learned to socialize with all sorts of dogs and people - they are much more relaxed when they are given the chance to run around off leash.
Thanks to all involved in bringing the park here and maintaining it every year ! ! !

Paw Print Park - Paws Up!

As a founding member of the Friends of Paw Print Park, I may be a little biased, but this is a great asset to the city of Janesville, WI and a wonderful addition to Janesville's long history of pride in our beautiful parks. Built on land donated by the city with money raised by a small but dedicated group, this park boasts 17 acres of fully fenced fun for your dogs. Even small ones can romp in safety in their own adjacent area, protected from the rough play of larger dogs - or if they are adventurous, they can head over and run through the tall grass and up the gentle slopes with the big dogs. A few mown paths help human companions stroll in comfort through the beautiful tree-surrounded landscape on Janesville's southern border. Easily accessed from the Hwy 11 bypass, just a greyhound sprint away from the intersection with Business Route 51, this park is a short drive way from Beloit, Clinton, and surrounding communities. Daily fees of $2.00 per dog are payable on site (be prepared to show your proof of payment to the Bark Ranger if she asks!) or you can apply with Janesville Leisure Services for an annual pass, for only $15.00. Come and enjoy our beautiful park soon!
