This is the only dog park in Seattle that it is legal for the dogs to go in the water. There is a fenced separate area for small dogs, trails, and drinking water. Magnuson Off-Leash Group (MOLG) supports this off leash area.

It is HUGE, there are mulch hills (which for some reason my dog likes to run up on), the people have always been friendly and responsible, lots of entrances and play areas. Once my dog snuck into the small dog area and none of the small dog owners even got upset....they said she was welcome if she's a little shy for her size.
The dog beach access point is off to the left of the main field and is secure. I love love love this park!!
It's a little hard to find at first, but I don't think your dog will mind the walk. The fenced walking area is amazing. The lake front is a bit small but even on a busy Sunday there was enough room for all. Dog parents were friendly and all seemed to be paying attention to what their pups were up to. There are pick up bags but didnt see a drinking area. A bit of a drive for me but well worth it. Definitely will be going back.
Awesome dog park best I have ever visited! Well behaved people and dogs! Huge area fenced with trails, open areas, water for swimming, drinking ! Separate small dog area. Only problem is it is muddy if raining but it was dry the day after it rained. Highlight of my Seattle visit!
This is a wonderful dog park! Definitely the best one I've been to! There's a water and rinsing station, small dog gated area, lots of nooks to play fetch, and a really fun area for dogs to play and swim in water! My dog always enjoys the friendly playful approach from other dogs that go. However, be sure to be aware of your dog. With such a vast park, you are bound to run into a misbehaved, poorlysocialized dog whose owner is not available.
Fun park! We go at least once a week!
This park has everything you could want in a dog park. When arriving, the parking can be tough because of the popularity. When you first arrive there is a huge field that you can play fetch or just let your dog go nuts with the other dogs (one of my favorite things about this park is that it seems many of the professional dog walkers come with large packs of dogs that are well socialized). Once you go past that main field you come upon a trail that is fully enclosed enabling you to walk your dog without a leash. The trail ends at a little beach where your dog can have a swim.
I recommend this park to anybody in Seattle. Its actually pretty far from where I live but its well worth the trip.
Magnuson has the best to offer in Seattle Dog Parks. The size, the adjacent lake and "dog beach", the open areas to roam and play, the nearby beach for human-lounging and swimming... This is the top weekend summer spot for all dog-lovers. In fact, it gets so busy, you may opt for going on the weekdays instead. No matter when you go, though, it's a place your pup will dream about in between visits.
