Opened Oct 16, 2004. This dog park has benches, shade, and drinking water. Parks Improvement Bond Measure provided $175,000 for the creation of this park.

The only negative which I could say about this park is that it's a bit small. Socializing a smaller dog/puppy is difficult when larger dogs are playing fetch almost on top of them.
Besides that, it's very close to the house and attracts a aside variety of dogs.
It can get a pretty muddy after it rains - but our puppy loved this and earned herself a bath once we were home.
This is a great little park. I go in the middle of the day normally and I never see anyone, which is a bit of a bummer. So its great if you just want some time with your dog. I have been there when lots of people are there and most I think aren't too used to dog park etiquette and they get nervous around some dogs which gets passed on to their dogs. I still go however. Someone left a kiddie pool down there and I thought it was GREAT! My pup loved it :)
It's not a HUGE park, but does the job allowing a nice place for the pups to run. Close to I-5 means it's a nice stop to stretch all 4 legs.
