Plenty of room for big & little dogs. Like a giant back yard. Excellent use of county land.

Awesome park! Has a fenced area with playground equipment for kids (the human kind)! There is always a supply of tennis balls. You can see mt. Rainer on a clear day. You can't tell it is on the dump, hardly ever smell anything, besides happy dirty dogs! Usually has a supply of pop bags incase you forget yours! Has a sand digging area that my dogs love because they are allowed to dig there and not at home! I gave it four stars because it could use a shelter for when it rains, and a few trees for shade. Maybe someday when funding allows!

The park is huge! My dogs love it! Love the dog bone shaped path to the entrance paved with bricks engraved with messages from donors. You MUST check it out.

I really like this dog park more than the other one in Olympia and Ft. Steilacoom in Lakewood. Especially, the small dog area. It's quite large and well gated even for the toy dogs. There's a nice barked loop around the area where you can get in some walking while the pups are playing without it being too muddy. I think the landscaping around there is very nice. You'd never guess you're right by the dump while you're in the dog park.

Fun dog park!

The place is so huge! I can really run there. The walk in the display garden between the parking and the dog park is very nice, also. My mom is getting new ideas for her own garden.

I am so excited about the new Hawks Prairie Dog Park

I have no review of the park as it has not been opened yet but I am a strong supporter of Dog Parks and will be a regular! My dogs, Ben and Bear, love playing at dog parks. Bear was very fearful the first few times he went to a park but now he is ready and rearing to play hard! Ben just loves to run around and sniff and pee on everything. He even peed on Bear one time! hahahaha. (only after another dog did) sheesh, dogs...gotta love 'em.
