the location of this park is amazing. Even though roanoke has its leash law, this is a fenced in place for your dogs to run free with no worries. the park is separated from big dogs and large dogs. i took my dog charlie there today for the first time, and he loved it. hes the only dog at home, so giving him a chance to play with new dogs was rewarding. i definitely recommend this to any dog lovers, its a wonderful place to spend time with your pooch! :)) and its relaxing for yourself!

This park is in a great location. Deep in the back of Highland park in Roanoke's historic district. The park has doggy water fountains and two sides one for small dogs and one for big ones. The people are always very friendly and usually not over crowded. The only downfall is in the winter it pretty muddy but the city should address that this spring.
