Cedar Bark Park (at Veterans Memorial Park)

I've been taking my two doggies here for about nine months and we just love it! My dogs and I have made so many new friends. The small dog section is wonderful. Ay Chihuahua (a small dog rescue group) says that our park is the best in the Austin area.

As stated by others, this is a very nice setup with separate small and large dog areas, as well as the swimming pond with a dock for them to jump off of. It's by far my beasts favorite place to romp.

My only complaint concerns the pond area, and it's complete absence of shade. It is truly uncomfortable being a human there in the Texas heat. I can understand they cleared the trees for construction. It would just be nice to have someplace to sit in the shade and cool off without having to leave the area. But, planning ahead with a hat and sunscreen still makes for a fun trip.

This is a nice park, but be prepared for a dirty dog. The sprinklers still come on at 7pm, not sure how to fix that so the dogs don't get so dirty

Opened on Memorial Day. Great park. Still new and grass needs to grow in yet, but very nice. Large fenced dry areas-separate for under and over 30 pounds. Also really big fenced area with a pond for dogs to swim and even a pier from which they can fly in after a stick or toy. Doggy showers at the exit to use after swimming and before getting back in the car or truck. Water fountains for both people and puppies (meaning tall people-height and short puppy-height). Lots of trash receptacles and poop bags PROVIDED. Please use them, people, so this REMAINS a wonderful park.

Lots of water fountains and room to romp and play make this park a wonderful addition to Cedar Park's off-leash community

Got plans to go with our 4 dogs and 4 people this afternoon. We drove by it yesterday and it looks awesome!
