It's My Park Day is an event at the park on March 3rd.

My favorite dog park I've found so far; always a lot of other dogs and - its on an island!
Lots of poison ivy on the isle, so be wary if you or your children are prone to getting poison ivy outbreaks secondhand from your pets. If I wasn't allergic, my pup and I would prefer this park over all others! So much fun.
This park is so pretty and its so nice being down on the water with your pup. The people are always friendly and the dogs absolutely love it! Parking is a hassle but not as bad as some people make it out to be...of course on a sunny, beautiful day there are going to be a lot of people here! My pup did get cut by a Boxer when he was just old enough to go to this park and I was hesitant to come back but we've never had an incident again! Please just don't bring your dog to a dog park unless you can control them and they aren't aggressive!!! GREAT PARK :)
