Awkward placement

Awkward placement in the middle of a city park but it gets the job done. It is nice to have two separate sections, one for small dogs, one for large. Rather dusty but has the amenities needed like poop bags. For a full review with pictures and video go to under the Places to bring your dog page. We have reviews of dog parks in RI, MA and CT

Dexter Street Dog Park

The park on Dexter Street is a decent size, mostly grass still with some dirt. The down sides are that owners have allowed their dogs to dig large holes in the park, and they can't all be seen easily. My dog stepped into one, luckily he wasn't hurt.

Also, the fencing around the park is damaged in some areas which could allow smaller dogs to slip through. There is a large section of fencing missing inbetween the small dog and the large dog area filled with temp plastic fencing. It wouldn't stop a dog from going from one side to the other if they were determined.

The park does have two fenced seperate areas, large dog and small dog. And the park is double gated as well. There are no water facilities available, so bring your own water and bowl. No restrooms either.
