Opened summer 2011. This dog park has a separate small dog area (there is no drinking water or trash cans at the park and all waste must be carried out).  They want to add a drinking fountain at the park. This dog park cost $11,388 in fencing and was raised through donations and fund raisers.

This is really nothing more than 2 areas that are fenced in. You are suppose to register and pay a one time fee of $5 per dog for use. I doubt many do that as no one is there to monitor. You must bring your own water and clean up after your dog. Because it's not monitored and rarely used, it seems the few that do use it have decided they don't need to clean up after their pooches...which is a shame as they plan to add more to it as funding is available. If you don't have a fenced yard for your dog to run in, this is nice...but if you're looking for one of those all fun dog parks, this isn't it and never will be if people don't learn to take care of things.
