Good amount of space, very clean and plenty of toys and dog accessories for them to entertain themselves

Hope to get back down the park soon!

Eddie and I are looking forward to returning to the park very soon. We frequent both parks (Kent and Haverford) but eddie has not been feeling well for the last few weeks. He is slowly recovering a we are looking forward to the cooler weather and the cleanliness of the park. We won't forgot to bring our water! LOL

very nice place

This is the best dog park I've seen in the area so far. Just took my German shepherd puppy (5.5mo old) there tonight, and he ended up getting to play with over 5 other big dog puppies of the same age! There is a separate play place for small dogs, and the owners all seem conscientious of what other dog owners allow with their dogs. Lots of different breeds. Clean. On a hill with mulch. Bring water :)

Nice Park

The park is nice. We go to both parks. Kent Dog Park and Haverford Reserve. Both have different features that we like...Haverford is down the street from us but Kent has the creek, which is right outside of the park. Sammy and Eddie are regulars so they know most of the dogs and their people.

Dog parks are a place for dogs and their people to socialize and have a good experience. There are NO bad dogs....just bad dog owners but these kind of people are everywhere.

Eddie is a JRT and has a Napoline complex. We keep him in his harness and keep an "Eagle" eye on him at all times. Sammy is 14 and is a collie/shepard mix. She is laid back and loves to meet new people.

Love it. Best Dog park

We've been bringing our Great Dane to this park ever since he was 4 months old. He LOVES it and there are always lots of "friends" to play with. It's great because it's huge with tons of space for dogs to spread out and run and get away form eachother if they need to. There's no fence so no dogs get cornered. As with any dog park, there are always the owners who don't watch their dogs and things happen. But I'd say 99% of the time everyone is cool and the dogs are having tons of fun. I don't go anywhere else as nothing compares to the size and great variety of dogs. Always a friend to play with. Don't get turned off my people's reviews having a bad experience with a bad owner. That can happen anywhere and is not the fault of the park. Most jerks aren't regulars anyway because we wouldn't tolerate them.

EDITOR COMMENT: We are not quite sure what dog park they are referring to because this dog park is fenced.

Hi

I visited the park today. Me, Olivia and Mason had a blast! We will be back. The only issue I have is WATER! There needs to be a fountain for the dogs!

Park needs some work

The park definetly needs some work. Mulch on the large side because it is so muddy, water spigots and a seating area on both sides so that both the dogs and their humans have a pleasant experience.

needs to be spruced up

The haverford reserve dog park is a nice park, and I'm glad there is finally a dog park near my house. It's not as nice as other dog parks that I've been to. It definitely needs a cemented sitting area for owners and some equipment for the dogs to climb on. Another dog park I go to has a large gazebo with benches and "playground" equipment made for dogs to play on. Overall it's a great addition to the community but it needs a bit of sprucing up. It should be more than just a fenced in patch of grass, it should be a gathering spot that's fun for dogs and their owners.

Much good luck in 'launching' a brand new dog park not too far from my home! I'm sure there are a great many dogs anxiously awaiting this big event~~!!
