A great park to stop at along the way

I really like this park. It isn't very large, but it stays dry in the winter and has plenty of tree cover in the summer. If your dog is a fetcher there is a good stretch of area usually covered in bark chips to chase toys. I will say that the bark chips can be trouble, as my pet has received splinters and lacerations from some of the bark they have been using recently (mixed with lumber scraps, etc).

There is a picnic table with water bowls and jugs. Across the street is the kindest lady in all of Portland, who allows park goers to fill the jugs with her hose, always draped over her fence. As a regular park goer I greatly appreciate her giving nature.

This park is a mix of small and large breeds. If your dog does not play well with small dogs this may not be the park for you as a lot of the regulars are smaller breeds. Also, there is a playground close by so be courteous of the children when off-leash or going to the fountain for water (located near the building in the center of the park).

This park is on the way to about everywhere in NE Portland, and it is a great stop with plenty of parking along its Eastern, dog park side.
