Yunker Farm Dog Park

This is a nicely fenced park with a very large area for big dogs and a great area for smaller dogs. It would be nice to have water available - so don't forget to pack in some water. I own and operate a dog rescue for difficult-to-place dogs and frequently take a van load over there. Throughout the good weather months (May-October), we sponsor Large & Giant breed dog meetups on Saturdays from 4pm to 6pm. It's wonderful to see several dozen giant breed dogs in the park at once. Oh, and don't forget sun screen - there is very little shade in the park.

Good group of dogs and their humans that visit this park. Chewie, my Siberian Husky, thinks he is an owner / caretaker of the park because he goes there almost every day. There is some talk that this park will move because Yunker Farm might expand. If they do move the park, the city should consider putting up some sort of lights (perhaps solar to keep down the electric bill) and water facilities. That would make this a great park!
