We loved this park!!!! We stayed in the small dog area, and invited a couple bigger dogs to come see us. Yes, the grass was patchy but we didn't mind. A great place to stop on a road trip. Www.loganlovesmaggie.blogspot.com

beware of mud

Lots of mud below every bench and the entrance to the gazebo. There is a cabinet for drinking water but it is often locked. Some owners are not attentive, and many don't clean up after their dogs. However, it's in a pretty spot, it's plenty big and the people are generally friendly.

nice park except on weekends

Nice park with a covered gazebo however, on weekend afternoons, some dog owners sit in the gazebo talking and smoking and don't watch their aggressive dogs. Be careful, as at all parks, and try to go at the less popular times as there is lots of room to run and is not muddy after rain.
