If you want a less crowded park, this is for you... but it can be boring if your dog wants lots of friends to play with. Watch out for a guy with a B&W Pit- he has no control over the dog and allows him to attack other dogs while he sits and does nothing!
I agree that, for most dogs, a park without grass isn't as much fun... but my dog is allergic to grass and it's the only dog park without it... So it works great for us!!!
When Centennial Hills dog park is closed I go here. I've been going once a week (Thursdays) ever since this park opened. No grass, never hardly anyone there. it's convienant to where I live, that's about it. Put some grass in and it'd be real nice.
I Absolutely agree!!!
Yes hello ' I'm wondering why the city would even create a dog park without grass!!!! As all dog owners and lovers know dogs love grass, it is like ice cream to most of us humans !!! A treat!!! Please stop making dog parks without grass as a native Vegan I pride myself in water conservation and have a desert front and back yard and take my dog to the park daily!!!! I think we deserve to have grass dog parks as well as open to the public FREE parks!!! Thank you for you time.

This dog park is nice enough for a city park. There are large stones for the dogs to play on, a water fountain to drink from for both people and dogs, an area for large and one for small dogs, and absolutely no grass. The lack of grass is the biggest draw-back.
