Do some research as to which trails to hike on. Most easy/intermediate hikes are easy enough for both humans and dog. There are even some small waterfalls on some trails during some seasons (we went to First Creek but the waterfall was dried up in the heat). You just have to do your research as to where to hike. My dog, Okami, had her own little back pack filled with our water and food. She looked like she had fun. We were more tired than she was when we came home.
Bring plenty of water - and do not make your dog carry it all. Lol.
This is more of a hiking trail rather than the traditional dog park. Barbed wire fence area
