All I need to do is mention "Jidana" and my dog Fuzzy gets really excited. He loves to run around off leash and this park provides ample opportunities. Most of the park is comprised of an island that is a huge off leash area. There is also a boardwalk and canoe access to Minnehaha Creek. In the winter the trails protrude into the wetlands that are frozen over. Depending on snow cover and ice thickness you can also go out on Minnehaha creek. There is plenty of room to roam at Jidana and your dog will be very happy and tired after their visit.
