New fencing!

There is new fencing put up which makes this park even better than before. Our dogs love this park and there is enough space to spend time with other dogs or go off on a trail by ourselves. Plenty of woods to run around in plus hills to get great exercise. This is our favorite by far although the bugs can get pretty bad but then we just stay in the open area

We love this park.

We bring our dog Simon to this park fairly often. We've visited many dog parks and this one is tops on our list and is also the largest we have visited. I love the amount of space available to let dogs play, and the trails are great for getting my exercise in, too. The only downside is the swampy area in the rear of the park - the mosquitoes can get quite fierce at certain times of the year.

It is true that the entire park isn't fenced, but for most dogs the main attractions (other dogs to play with) will keep them inside the park. The unfenced areas are adjacent to farm fields so even if a dog does go outside the area they aren't in danger of being hit by a car.

Great Dog Park

There are no fees to use this fabulous park, but I learned recently that you should have a Woodbury dog license to use it. Residents AND Nonresidents can get one from the Woodbury City Hall in Valley Creek Road. It costs $10 for two years and us prorated in the off year. We paid $5 which is good through 12/31 and is quite a bargain for using this excellent facility.

Great Dog Park

We just went to this park for the first time today. Our dog, Milo, loved it. He was able to play with all the other dogs and we went for a walk on the trails. It was still a little muddy today but I am sure will be great in the summer. We will visit this park often!

I've lived in Woodbury for a long time and only a few months ago found out about this park. It's very big!!!, has trails around and a large area for dogs to run and play with each other. My dog loves it! The only thing I don't like about it is that parts are not fenced in, and my dog (though fine with other dogs around) likes to chase after squirrels and birds, which could have him leaving the park and running through the cornfields surrounding it! Other then that, this park rocks!

This is a wonderful dog park

Hello,
My Golden Retriever and I have recently moved to Woodbury and discovered this park. It is a gorgeous, well maintained park. There is running water, lovely walking trails, a porti-potty, garbage receptacles and poop bags. Everyone we have met here has been super nice and the dogs are all well behaved. The park is also large enough for lots of running if your dog would rather do that than play with other dogs. Enjoy!!
