Dogs must be on a leash (no longer than 6 feet) on the trails, in the formal areas of the park, and in the parking lot. Dogs may be under voice command (off leash) and in view of owners at all times in the undeveloped areas of the park.

Big Willow has several paved/crushed rock trails that follow the Minnihaha creek which dogs need to be on leash when using. Off of the formal trails are several paths that are off leash, many lead down to the water at some point & loop back to main trail. The area is wooded and Mosquitos are common. Parking is the first right turn PAST Big Willow ball fields on Minnetonka Blvd or off of Cedar Lake Rd on the side street Creek rd. There are bags & trash provided at both parking areas. Restrooms can be found at Big Willow Park.
