Opened June 5, 2010. This was a skating rink that is permanently used as a dog park now. It is part mulch ground cover and part grass. It has a tunnel, drinking water, and benches. This dog park is supported by the Dog Owners at Bassett Creek Dog Park.

We are going to the park tomorrow afternoon, and hope to find friends!
It was nice meeting you last weekend with the dog you were watching. Are you going to bring your huskies around sometime this wekend? A lot of people come earlier on the weekends to beat the heat. :O)
Awesome place for my two Siberians to run around! And I can see them at all times:) I really like the concrete tub(?) that goes under the ground, the dogs and I went through it, I had a blast and so did they!
Very clean ground too!
Thanks
Sincerely,
Nieka and Nanuk
We love bringing our dogs to this park! The park itself is pretty awesome but having the dog park there makes it even better! There is loads of space for the dogs to run, a tunnel to play in, taps for water and water dishes. It is awesome!
June 5th, 2010. 11am-2pm

If you want to find a park in Crystal with a lot of dogs, try Bassett Creek. Any day of the week, between 3:30 and 5:30pm in the winter and 3pm-10pm in the summer. TONS of dogs. Which is why we are asking for a larger space. Come to the Crystal city council meeting tonight to find out all about it! It's at city hall at 7:00pm.
so glad crystal has 4 dog parks,,they just dont seem very well used at the times I am around with my dog..come on out folks..
As of 8/10/2009, the off-leash dog exercise area is now located in the hockey rink. The hockey rink will NOT be flooded this winter.
The dog park is between the two ball fields. It's an okay dog park.
