Damon and I just love the park. Relocated here in Dec, 2011. The dogs have such a great time and the people are so friendly. Everyone takes care of their dog, plus look out for yours. I recommend this park to everyone I know. Along with starting a Facebook page " Canine Pitner Park Parents's "

We took our dog Bela to the Pitner Road dog park on 7/4/2011, and she just loved it. We went about 11 am, but there were no other dogs there - just in the big dog side (we were in the little dog side). This park is well-kept, doesn't smell bad, and has lots of grass for the dogs to enjoy.
My only complaint was that the water fountain (for both people and dogs) was turned off and there were no bags in the clean-up station. Overall, it was worth the trip, though. Just remember to bring your own water and bowl, and pickup bags. There is a nice big trash can to dispose of waste in.
