not the best

The isn't really a dog park. It IS an off leash area so if you need to let you dog exercise for a bit, it's okay. There is no shade and the area is currently very dirty from feces owner's have not picked up. The best times to go are in the early evening. In the spring/summer this is a real stretch since there is NO shade (the canopy area offers minimal relief). To their credit they recently repaired the water fountains & spread one load of mulch (to cut down on the dust). When it rains substantially both sides (large/small dogs) have standing water for days until the retention/detention aspect of this "dog park" subsides. Then the area becomes fecal soup which eventually gets absorbed into the dirt the dogs get to play in. I would suggest using this area sparingly and/or notify the City of changes needed to make this area safer for our pets.

Okay, never many dogs

I've been here twice and have seen maybe 3 other dogs. Not a lot of shade but there's a cool off-leash area and doggie water fountain.

Possum Park

Nice park connected to a skate park, big soccer field and kids play area. Has both big and small dog fenced in off leash areas. Nice new park has shade to sit under and water fountains. Only bad part is the sandy grass.
