Good to have one near the hotels...

I travel a lot. My buddy Fritz is with me at all times. So I was happy to know that while being in the area we had a dog park close at hand. We've seen many, so maybe we've grown "jaded", but this place was just... sad. I give it 3 stars cause it seemed so... old, and unkept (grass too long). It's in the middle of an older neighborhood, very small, but the "locals" are really friendly and it has a certain charm that is very comforting and can be extremely relaxing. If you're in the area it is definitely worth a visit... your dog WILL have a great time, many old playground sets for him to explore. There's LOTS of shade!

The park was tiny just 1 bench. I can understand now why I was the only person with her dogs there, they do not have a separate space for big and little dogs the area is just not appealing. The water fountain was dirty. I have a dachsund and a Min schnauzer when some other person came with his siberian husky he felt he had to leave because he wasn't comfortable having his dog play with mine because of the huge size difference. I don't blame him and I appreciate his noble gesture because I definitely did not want my dogs hurt either. For those of Us in the Kissimmee area there is a park off Neptune that is much better (Partin Triangle Dog Park).

Good surroundings, though,

Good surroundings, though, small play area. One Time Out cage. Almost no where to sit, only one dog fountain.
