My dog and I especially like the wooded hiking trails. They are quiet, peaceful, and a great change of pace for both people and dogs.
This park has two separate areas for large and small dogs and a wooded on leash area. Unfortunately the park is used fairly sporadically, so go there on the weekends after 9AM for the most dog fun. They have water for dogs and humans as well as waste bags. They also have a few agility obstacles. The people are mostly friendly and so are most of the dog regulars.
It is important to note that even if you are tempted, do not let your dog off leash on the woods trail. I have seen a seven foot Eastern Diamondback Rattle snake back there.
