The park shows that little overall thought went into designing it. It's fenced in and there are obstacles throughout the park- those are the only positives. There is no access to water (or any where near drinkable water, for either dogs or owners), there is no shade, which during the hot summer, is pretty important. The worst is that there are weeds throughout the park (that's what happens when there's no upkeep), the weeds are ones with sharp stickers on them that hurt dog's paws. I moved back from Fort Collins (where I was spoiled by all of the FANTASTIC dog parks) and I am so incredibly disappointed by the dog park as there is literally NO WHERE else in Glenwood where dog owners can let their dogs off a leash without getting a ticket.

Great park

I live here in Glenwood Springs and didn't even know about this dog park until I got the dog park app and read the review. It's a nice park, lots of room to run and lots of obstacles for the dogs.

Great space! hardly used!

This is a really nice dog park, and I am just amazed at how few people use it! Someone took a lot of time and effort to get this dog park put in. It's sad more people don't use it. We stopped by on a road trip thru glenwood so our pup could stretch her legs and get some built up energy out. Lots of fun obstacles for dogs to run thru, under on top of!
