kinda industrial

My dogs give it 5 stars, i have to give it 2 stars. Because mothers worry about their dogs sneaking under fences to get into all of the industrial businesses that line the south side of this park (the fences are designed to keep human thieves out, not little beagle thieves looking for discarded lunch scraps!). And mothers also worry about crossing the many roads that cut through this park. The park runs from Zuni to the west all the way to the train tracks to the east. No fences (other than around the industrial parks to the south). So you cross Tejos St. and Raritan St., following the drainage gulch down to the railroad tracks and river. Traffic on those streets isn't too heavy, but it was workers' vans and trucks ... they were on a mission to get to/from work and might not stop fast enough for a wayward dog crossing the street. The dogs loved all of the smells, but mom found it all a bit stressful. Would be a nice park for well-behaved dogs that don't follow their noses so much!
