See website which confirms that the Frederick Street Park now has fences for dogs to be off leash. I do not go there, but others keep me informed.

Located in a community park. No fences. One side is a quiet residential street and the other is the Santa Cruz Marina. There are restrooms here. Nice. I did not see a doggy fountain. The kiddy play area and skateboard area is next to the open acre of grassy off-leash dog area. Plenty of trash cans but didn't see any bag dispensers. Nice place to start a leashed walk to the marina area. No real seating area except for the kiddy or BBQ areas. So, would recommened for frisbee and ball fetchers that listen. NOTE: If you park by the boat docks, parking meters must be fed. So go for the Fredrick St. side first.
