Nice Park with Nice People

This is definitely a local's park.  There is a regular crew of 8-12 owners that come every day after work with their dogs and they're all great, easy-going people who love their dogs.  The park itself is about 10-15K ft2 with a smaller, separate area for small dogs.  The grounds are mostly dirt, although they have planted a few trees lately for decoration/variation.

There is a grass athletic field next to the park, but the local police have indicated that they will be enforcing the off-leash regulations aggressively.  We've seen them show up a couple of times to check out the park.  So, beware if you let your dog run on the grass without a leash.

Also, on one of the entrances (there are two), there have been quite a few dog droppings that have not been picked up by their owners.  I think I speak for most of this park's attendees when I say that picking up after your own dog is not only sanitary, it helps to avoid unnecessary conflicts with non-dog owners and the city regulators.

Other than that, it can get quite windy at the park, so layer up if you're going.  It's often very chilly up there.  Say hi to:  Diva, Jake, Chuy, Peanut, Sierra, Samson, Sammy, Ryder, Ace, Nelson and the rest of the gang.  They'll be happy to see you.
