Good park, Visited Jan.2011. This is my sixteenth park my dog and I have been to from Monterey, Ca, heading north. While it is not a big park, it's nice. I little muddy, but a good group of attentive dog owners there. Rate it in my top five so far.

Nice park if your dog need
5

Nice park if your dog need exercise and you don't have the space or energy to run them. I also had Animal Control check my dog for a license and told me to be aware of the rules. There were some people there talking about a few "cry babies" who get hurt and want to blame every one but themselves. Be aware of your surroundings or you will get ran over, thats the nature of the park. These cry babies are going ot wind up getting the park closed, then where will we go. Accidents happen.

Broke her foot?

The dog broke her foot or she was knocked over and fell down breaking her own foot? Sorry that happened, but it is a risk you assume by using the park. You state non-vicious, so how would that pertain to Animal Control? When dogs run and play they could cause an Accident. If you dont like what you see when you get there.. then like you said.. Do NOT go there.

Great park!

When I was there with my dog.. Animal Control came by and did a license check and the park cleared out! I like that they came by to see how things were going. I've been to other parks and I never saw any enforcment of any kind. It was all up to the owners to 'police' them selves. The rules are clearly stated on the gates. but you have to read them.

Dangerous park
1

Roseville does not hold owners of uncontrolled, non-vicious dogs responsible for injuries caused by them. My wife had her foot broken by an out-of-control German shepherd that rammed her, and Animal Control's reaction was, "Tough luck". Do not go there if there are large dogs on the loose. Go to Woodland or Davis parks - much better managed and safer for you and your dog.

Nice Park

Very nice park, still has some grass.  Entrance has pens with hoses for dog washing and rinsing.  Can get very muddy near the fountain and of course everyone congregates right inside the gate.
