Dog Park Finder
I have been going to this dog park since i adopted my little dog almost two years ago
I have met the nicest people with the best dogs
I love this park
Clean park. Always filled with sweet dogs and more importantly... attentive pet owners!
My wife, our niece and I along w/ our 9-month old Puggy aka Pug Puppy, Prince Pugsley Pawington, IV went to this Dog Park yesterday, 8/2/10. We had so much fun! There are 2 doggy areas - one for the smaller breeds (25 lbs and under PLUS timid dogs) and one for the larger breeds. There's water fountains for the dogs as well as benches. It's a rather new area so the trees haven't grown just yet AKA no shade. The people are so nice and everyone picks up after their dogs and look after each other's as well. Very family/pet-friendly area. One of the best, if not the best, dog parks I've seen. We'll be bringing Pugsley there every chance we get! We love our community and are so grateful to have this dog park here in Natomas Park.
We went today with our two small doggies and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even though it was the rainy season, there was no mud to speak of... The gravel referred to in previous comments was not in the small dog area (we didn't go into the large dog area). We felt safe and the "boys" had a great time. We will be back often.
Thankyou for providing such a nice area for our "guys".
We live across the way from the new dog park. Today was our first day taking our dogs there. The park is beautiful and it's so convenient that it is located just across the way. There is one thing that concerns us and some people who were there. The gravel nearly ripped out my dogs paws. As We were there, the same happened to several of the other dogs too. I'm not sure what the city can do about this, but it is not safe. Does anyone have suggestions on what we can do about this??
This park was supposed to open in June 2009, and as of today it is completely unfinished. There is no grass, no working fountains and truly just a big disappointment. Hopefully the city will finish this park up and it will become a community benefit.
