There is an off leash area at the base of the hike.  Dogs must be on leash on the trails; the hike takes about an hour.  Drinking water on the Homme Adams side of the hike only.

nice for visitors

Great off leash area. Lots of parking, lots of space.

Hiking Trail

There is an off-leash area for dogs to play at the base of the hike, but leashes are required on the hike itself. The hike is about an hour long. It is best to go before the temp is over 90* as the sand is hot on dogs' feet. There is drinking water at the start on the Homme Adams side but not the Cahuille side. The signage for the park reads Homme Adams versus Cap Homme.

The park is kind of boring but very big. Nice to have dogs off leash. The hiking trails from the park are great and the view is wonderful!
