A rocky, unwelcoming off-leash area lies just beyond a beautiful expansive beach and wonderful boat ramp. You definitely feel like a second class citizen. A few brave souls defied the threat of a ticket and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed ourselves mightily.
Came here after seeing No Dogs Allowed signs at King's Beach. There is not a sandy beach here, just lots of rocks and boulders along the shoreline. Our dog had no problems climbing over them to get in the water. Convenient parking lot is just steps away from the beach. We didn't pay to park, but I gather that the fee is enforced during the summer months. I did not see any signs that stated that dogs must be leashed, so we let ours run off-leash.
