Nice leash-free walk
4

This is a nice walk for both the 2 and 4-leggers. LOTS of ground squirrels, so if you have a hunting dog, you may not want them to go off-leash! Lunch can get costly, but its convenient. Dog wash available for those dogs that like to swim!

Great place to be a DOG

I went here about 2 weeks ago with my puppy. He has selective hearing when it comes to his recall so I was a little neverous about letting him off leash. I needed not worry. Several really great pet owners help me out and gave me some great advice. Of course my puppy loved it! He was able to interact with a lot of dogs, he tried his hand at swimming ( basically he just drank the ocean water) and he wore himself out. They also have a cool pet shop that washes and dries the pet and a little cafe that services people and doggie treats. This is a great parks all around.

I just moved to the area from SF and this place is such a blessing for me and my 2 pups. My youngest pup isn't into the water scene but loves other dogs and my oldest loves the water and to run like the wind so there's a haven for them both. We used to have to go to the beach for El and to a doggie park for B..and then coffee for me. One stop shop guys!! One word: Go!

Absolutely love it =)
Awesome for my puppy to socialize, great for me to get over my fear of big dogs, and friendly people at the cafe and grooming place
This is a great place to walk and get refreshments and grooming.
Bring a sweater though because it is windy and cold most days.

DOG HEAVEN, people too.

What a paradise. Point Isabel makes my dog's life so amazing. We are here everyday, we always meet new friends with two and four legs.
The cafe is cute, although my dog goes in that mud every day and there is no way I'm paying 26 bucks to wash him. There's a hose at the other entrance by the bridge.
Water
Wide Open Spaces
Beautiful Views, and usually at least 40 dogs.
View of the city skyline, mountains
Best dog park I have ever been to.

This park was huge! Lots of room to run. There was plenty of grass, dirt and ponds, also a sidewalk trail to use as. Nice coffee shop too.
It was my puppys first dog park and he had a blast.
Wish I had anything this cool back at home. A must see for dog owners.

Seek out this park if you are a dog lover. It is a very social dog scene. It is complete with a dog store with toys, treats and bath AND an outdoor dining area for you.

Nothing negative to say about this park. Great location at the end of an industrial area. Very relaxed atmosphere. Big and small dogs mingling together. Grassy area for ball playing, paved walkways around the park. Dogs have to climb over rocks to get down to the bay. The onsite dog wash is a great idea and reasonably priced ($11 for 15 minutes self serve; they supply shampoo and 2 towels) Unfortunately, we went on a Sunday thinking we would play and then wash afterwords. There was an hour wait for a self serve tub, but they did say we could check in every quarter hour to see if a tub opened up. If you plan to wash your dog after your park visit, reserve a tub when you first get there or you can always sit in the cafe area with your dog while you wait. We were traveling and didn't have time to wait, but would love to come back to visit.

This is a very large and very popular full service dog park. They have it all. Because of it's size and lack of noticeable confinement (there are fences, but you just don't really notice 'cause it is so huge), dogs rarely get in fights, they simply move on. The only drawback would be (and it was for us while our dog was still a puppy and learning good behavior) that if your dog isn't good with the command "come" you could be chasing him/her long distances . . . wear your running/hiking shoes.
