This dog park has a separate small dog area. This is a very small park adjacent to the Bryant Animal Shelter. Plans include adding more seating and shade trees, as well as a complete overhaul of the drainage (there are some soft areas near the building.) It can be used by the public only when animal control officers are on duty (see hours above.) There are plans to create a much larger and accessible dog park in the Bryant Community in the next year or so.

Midtowne Dog Park is Small, but Meets a Need
2

Midtowne Park is very small. Adjacent to both the animal shelter and the interstate. This park was built by a group of volunteers, and meets a community need of an area for dogs to run off-lead. The area is too small for several large dogs to enjoy, but several smaller dogs would love it. Users should be patient, as it is still under development and plans for improvements are included when the shelter undergoes renovation later this year.
