Average Park

The park is suitable as far as dog parks go. Pretty much everything written in the two below reviews rings true as of Sept 2011. The owners here were friendly and not hyper-freaked by a little rough playing between dogs. It seemed like a good mix--a separate area for smalls, clean water, a large area in the big dog part for running, shade in the small dog part. Overall, it is a nice enough place for you and your dog to hang out.

Good park, but the grass is thin

Our dogs enjoyed the small dog area. There were a few mesquite trees that provided shade as well as a large picnic table. **I advise pet owners to check the park for snakes before turning dogs loose.** The surrounding area is desert and there are many venomous snake warning signs.

There is no shade for the dogs or owners. My dog loves to play in water and other dog parks usually have a kiddie play pool which the dogs love (especially in summer). This park does offer big dog/small dog areas which is good. The big dog area is big with LOTS of running room. Mostly dirt with patches of dead grass.
