Miko Park still not safe

This park is nice but the the pit bull comments below are very true. We started out playing nicely when all of a sudden a woman comes in with two dogs (one white pit bull and one mix Shepard). Right off the bat the pit bull starts growling and graving at our dogs neck. The lady says, "don't worry, that's just the way she plays". Not more than 5 minutes later the pit bull was attacking our dog and before we could break it up her shep joined in blocking us from saving her. $220 dollars later we are back at home com to plating whether we will ever visit a dog park again.

Our favorite dog park

I've tried several dog parks around Tucson, and this is the best of them by far. Grass is reseeded annually (half of the park at a time), which is necessary given the Tucson climate. The large dog area features two multilevel water fountains, mature trees, a walking track and covered concrete picnic tables. The small dog area is similar but, well, smaller. Both sides are well-attended, so dogs nearly always have someone to play with. - Karen
