Connor's Bog

Very pleasant and pretty. We only stayed a couple of days in Anchorage. Our dog loved this place. Other dogs were very friendly as were their masters. Too many mosquitos, though. One gal actually wore a beekeeper's netted cap while here.
One question, though. What are the piles of white powdery substance?
