It has been awhile since we posted new information here, but we would like to take a moment to tell you about some improvements coming to the Otter Lake Dog Park.
Around the middle of July, there will be some Boy Scouts installing a couple of benches in the park as part of their Eagle Scout project. These benches should make a great addition along the walking trails.
The dog park will also be receiving a couple of new signs with weatherproof bulletin boards on the back side. Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with a group of students from Johnson High School to build new signs for the Ramsey County dog parks. We are told that these signs are to be made of cedar and have nice glass doors covering the bulletin board area. Look for these to be installed later on this summer.
