Hi there, I am looking for some additional information in regards to
dog attacks at elm creek dog park. My golden retriever was attacked by
a great dane on the evening of 10/7/09. Initially she looked fine, the
owner never said anything,just walked off....Inever got any information
fromher,and initially I thought Ivy wasfine. We awoke this morning to
find bloodon our beadspread andshe ended up having a laceration onher
backside. She had to be put to sleep, laceration repaired, drain placed
andis on antibiotics. I just want to get the word out because Idon't
think the great dane should be in the park. My dog was on her backand
yelping...shedoesn't evenwrestle with other dogs...her and her brother,
Wrigley just chase balls. If Ivy were a smaller dog,it would not
havebeen good.If you have anyidea in regards to spread the word, please
